|  | | | | Events in Art | | The art work created by three Longfellow students was chosen to be reproduced in a poster that will promote the Ordway Center's Youth Artwalk. Each student received an $50.00 award and two posters. A poster will also be given to Longfellow school. It will be on display near the office.
Wet Paint Art Supply store has another group of Longfellow student art works on display! The store is currently displaying cityscape paintings by Ms. Turk's second grade class. These brightly colored cities will be on display until May 31st.
A visiting artist will be coming to Longfellow in April. This artist will be creating a metal sculpture with Mr. Young's fourth grade class. The sculpture will celebrate our humanities curriculum across the grade levels. When it is completed it will temporarily be on display at a downtown location during the Ordway's Artwalk. After the Artwalk it will be installed near the school office.
