 | | Longfellow School Celebrates 127 years of service. |
On July 21st, 2009 the school board voted to approve the closing of Longfellow Humanities Elementary. Serving the community since 1883, rising costs and declining enrollment, brought about the difficult decision to close the school, June 2010.
Now is the time to remember and celebrate the many years of service to the St. Paul Community. Our theme this year is "I make a Difference - Forever and a Day". The memories we create today will be with us forever.
We need the help of Alumni and supportive community members.
We are looking to form a volunteer planning committee of alumni interested in organizing an end-of-year celebration to take place June of 2010.
